Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
- Florida Home Vibes is a brand operated by Lofty Consulting LLC.
- If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address and a few technical details (like signup source and IP address) so we can send you updates and honor unsubscribe requests.
- We don't currently offer account sign-in, Google login, or public comments on this site. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
- A Meta (Facebook) Pixel is active on our homepage only for ad measurement. We also send a one-way, scrambled (hashed) version of your email — never the plain email itself — to Meta when you subscribe (from any page), along with your IP address and browser type.
- We don't sell your personal information.
- Questions or requests? Email [email protected].
Who We Are
Florida Home Vibes is a brand operated by Lofty Consulting LLC ("Florida Home Vibes," "we," "us," or "our"). Florida Home Vibes is not a separate legal entity — Lofty Consulting LLC is the company responsible for this website and the practices described in this policy.
This policy explains what information we collect through floridahomevibes.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to the Site as it actually operates today — not to features we may build in the future.
Information We Collect
We only collect information through two real, currently active channels on the Site: newsletter signup, and ordinary website hosting/security logs.
| Category | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | When you submit the newsletter signup form (homepage or the on-page popup) | To send you the newsletter and confirmation/welcome emails, and to manage your subscription |
| Signup source & page URL | Recorded automatically at the moment you sign up | To understand which part of the Site a signup came from, for our own internal reporting |
| IP address & basic request data | Automatically, with every newsletter signup request and ordinary page request | Spam/abuse prevention (rate limiting), security, and basic hosting operation |
| Hashed email, IP address, browser user agent | Only when a newsletter signup succeeds | Sent to Meta's Conversions API for ad measurement — see "Cookies, Pixels & Advertising" below |
We do not currently collect passwords, government ID numbers, financial account information, or precise geolocation. We do not currently offer account creation, Google Sign-In, or public comments — see Future Features.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the newsletter: sending the emails you've signed up for, confirming your subscription, and processing unsubscribe requests.
- To keep the Site secure and working: detecting and limiting automated abuse of the signup form, and ordinary technical troubleshooting.
- To measure ad performance: understanding whether our Facebook/Instagram advertising is reaching people who actually sign up, as described below.
We do not use your newsletter signup to automatically enroll you in anything else, and signing up for the newsletter is the only way you're added to our mailing list.
Cookies, Pixels & Advertising
A Meta (Facebook) Pixel is currently active on our homepage. When it loads, it registers a basic page-view event with Meta and may set or read a cookie in your browser as part of Meta's standard advertising tools. This helps us understand whether our Facebook/Instagram ads are working.
Separately — and regardless of which page a newsletter signup happens on — our server sends Meta's Conversions API a one-way, scrambled (SHA-256 hashed) version of the email you signed up with, along with your IP address and browser user-agent string. This is a standard, privacy-preserving ad-measurement technique: Meta cannot reverse the hash back into your actual email address. We never send Meta your plain-text email address.
We don't currently run Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics/advertising tool beyond the Meta tools described above.
How We Share Information
We don't sell your personal information. We share limited data with the service providers that help us run the Site, and only for the purposes described in this policy:
- Cloudflare — hosts the Site, stores newsletter signup records in Cloudflare's database (D1) and handles basic rate-limiting/security (Cloudflare Workers KV).
- Resend — sends the newsletter welcome email and an internal notification email on our behalf.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — receives the pixel/Conversions API data described in "Cookies, Pixels & Advertising" above.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Florida Home Vibes, our users, or others.
Data Retention
We keep newsletter subscriber records for as long as your subscription is active, plus a reasonable period after you unsubscribe so we can honor your opt-out and avoid re-adding you by mistake. We don't currently operate on a fixed deletion schedule for every data type; retention is based on the purpose the data was collected for.
Your Choices & Rights
- Unsubscribe: every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at [email protected] to request removal.
- Access or deletion requests: email [email protected] and we'll respond to reasonable requests about the information we hold about you.
We haven't confirmed that specific state or international privacy statutes (such as a particular state's consumer privacy act) apply to Florida Home Vibes, so we're not making specific statutory-rights promises here. If that changes, we'll update this policy.
Children's Privacy
Florida Home Vibes is a general-audience site about Florida real estate and local life, and it is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] so we can address it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we actually collect, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. Under Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 501.171), covered entities that experience a breach of certain personal information must notify affected individuals as required by statute; we'd follow that process if it were ever applicable.
Future Features
We're exploring account sign-in (including Google Sign-In) and public comments for future articles. Neither feature is live on the public Site today. Before either feature is turned on for the public, we will update this Privacy Policy to accurately describe what new information is collected and how it's used — and keep any future sign-in/authentication data separate from advertising systems like the Meta tools described above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Site changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes affecting how we handle your information will be reflected here before they take effect.
